Sound of G-Rex

Music and street art elements come together on fresh canvases in the new group exhibition by G-Rex Street Art Collective. Opening on Friday, December 8th. Welcome!

Sound of G-Rex exhibition showcases a collection of instruments, collages, and everyday objects that have been modified by the group, incorporating elements of street art and recycled materials.

G-Rex is a street art collective founded by members of Grafia who were passionate about revitalising the cityscape. The group is composed of professionals and students in visual communication, many of whom work as illustrators and independent artists.

The versatile group has previously gained recognition for their vibrant murals and community art projects. Open to all Grafia members, the group has promoted Finland’s legal mural culture and sought better ways to navigate bureaucratic mazes between project implementers, artists, and city regulations.

G-Rex members showcasing their work in the exhibition:
Maria Björklund, Terhi Ekebom, Elina Holley, Laura “Lauratimantti” Lehtinen, Päivi Säde, Viv Magia, Sara Multanen, Jesse Pasanen, Ossi Pirkonen, Maikki Rantala, Ville Salervo, Superflinda, Anni-Julia Tuomisto ja DJ Ässä.

Welcome to the exhibition opening on Friday, December 8th, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Luonnos. The opening will feature vinyl DJs from G-Rex’s own crew:
