This two-part lecture and workshop offers an opportunity to explore different approaches to portfolio planning and a practical guide on how to successfully tailor a striking and engaging portfolio, ready to hit the market. In addition, there will be an opportunity to share ideas and challenges with colleagues, and hopefully get answers to many of the thorny questions surrounding personal branding.The lecture will take place on Thursday, October 12th from 4:30-6PM and the workshop on Saturday, November 18th from 1-3PM. Both will take place at Luonnos at Uudenmaankatu 13, Helsinki. Participants will be given a homework assignment at the lecture that will be discussed as a group during the workshop.This workshop is only for Grafia members and will be taught in English. The first 20 members to sign up will be able to participate.The workshop will be led by Piëtke Visser, an award winning designer, visual storyteller and conceptual thinker who believes in playfulness, empathy and an open culture of collaboration. Based in Helsinki, Piëtke is the creative director at Kuudes oy, The Insight-driven Design Consultancy, and a partner at Lokal, home to Finnish art, craft and design. In her work she strives to understand people and organizations and translate their messages into memorable, human-centered design solutions and visual narratives.Note!
