The call for applications for Grafia’s Mentorship Program for the 2024–2025 season will open at the beginning of September. This will be the fifth year of the mentorship program. The program is exclusively for Grafia members and lasts six months from the end of November to the beginning of June 2025.During the program, mentors and mentees will work in pairs. You can apply to become a mentor or mentee through the application form on Grafia’s website. The mentorship program supports Grafia members in developing as professionals and in enforcing a sense of community.The mentorship program will be led by Virpi Haavisto, founder of Avantage and Luova johtaja forum. Virpi is a solution-oriented coach for individuals and teams, who specializes in facilitating the work of creative professionals.The call for applications will begin with the application period for mentors, which will be open from Monday, September 2nd to Sunday, September 22nd. You do not need to have any prior experience as a mentor, since mentoring is also a learning experience for the mentor. All we ask is that you’re interested in acting as a mentor for another member of Grafia. In making the selections, the mentor’s professional experience and desire to help will be emphasized.The application period for mentees is open from Monday, October 7th to Sunday, October 27th. Mentees will be chosen by Grafia and Virpi Haavisto. In making the selections, the applicant’s motivation to develop as a professional will be emphasized.For those who are selected, there will be a kick-off meeting where tips and tools will be shared for developing a good mentoring relationship. Participants will also be asked to participate in a check-in meeting and a final-meeting.
