In this two-part workshop, you will explore the basics of risography—how a Riso machine works and how to prepare and print your two-colour artwork. We will also delve into the distinctive characteristics of riso printing—its rich textures, vibrant colours, and subtle imperfections that make it so captivating. This workshop uses the risograph’s scanner, enabling participants to create materials entirely by hand, without any digital devices. The course will be conducted in English. The workshop is led by Robin Clifford Ellis, a printmaker and founder of If By Magic Risoprint Studio.Note! Members travelling from outside of the Helsinki metropolitan area to attend the workshop qualify for travel aid (max. 120 €), according to the least expensive public transportation method.
