In this poster workshop, participants will be introduced to working with letterpress techique and print their own 40 x 60 poster, using old wood and metal letters. The workshop will be led by graphic designer and printmaker Ilkka Kärkkäinen. The fee includes the instruction, tools, inks and paper. The instruction will mostly be in Finnish, however, it is possible to ask questions in English.
This workshop is only for Grafia members. There is room for the first 10 participants to sign up. The fee is non-refundable.
Note! Members traveling from outside of the Helsinki metropolitan area to attend the workshop qualify for travel aid (max. 120 €), according to the least expensive public transportation method.
